Even though your pup has such a succesfull relatives, it might be that he or she will not be an international champion. This is nothing to blame me on.:)

Anyway I can give you couple of hints how to behave if your pups first trialing experience is not as succesfull as it was in your dreams....
It is always a sure and also a classic one to use : " it never has earlier" or surprised " what the f is he doing?" when he exploses just after "a-waaaayyyyy" command.
That makes sure to your fellow trialists that it is just a wicked games of fortune and completely messed position of the stars and has nothing to do with you that Fifi hunted down that breeding ewe.
You did not have nothing to do with the episode even though Mr. Thompson saw you and your dog to light up a fire just earlier behind the forrest and add oil to the hot pan. Only the meat was missing...

If your dog managed to split the sheep to each corner of the field and catch the fattest one, you should shout happy and loud how the dog did a single and how it was actually just what was planned on the high climate camp.

Always discuss more in detail of what happened and what the cooking behind the forrest was about, in a good drunkness.




Now, the famous relatives of your pup are listed above. Copy it and keep the copy with you especially during the evening program of the trial. Make sure everyone understands that it was you, who played a huge role in training these above mentioned dogs. Be loud and repeat same things often to really get respect.
When putting your pup to bed without dinner that night, leave the list on his bedroom table. He will get into it in the next morning after finnishing the cartoons.
